About Pamela Harris

Pam is a Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC), and is author of the book Music and Self: Living Your Inner Sound. She holds a Master of Arts from Goddard College.

Pam has studied toning, harmonic toning, chanting, and multicultural music and sound healing with Don Campbell, Jonathan Goldman, and Pat Moffitt Cook. She has traveled in Central and South America, Mexico, Canada, Europe, the Caribbean, Southeast Asia, India, China, and Tibet, absorbing the music cultures of these countries.

As a sound therapist, Pam works with people interested in personal growth and exploration. Her clinical music therapy experience includes adolescent and adult psychiatric, neurologically impaired, autistic children, Alzheimer’s, and mentally handicapped clients.

She has a certificate in Mastery Level Toning from the Institute of Music, Health and Education; has completed Advanced Training in the Therapeutic Use of Cross Cultural Sound and Music in Healing from the Open Ear Center; and is certified in Psychosynthesis Music Therapy. Pamela is also a member of the Sound Healers Association and the Healing Music Organization.

Pam has studied and trained in core shamanism with Sandra Ingerman through the Foundation of Shamanic Studies, as well as with George Huaco, Ruth Aber, and Betsy Bergstrom. She is a member of the Society for Shamanic Practitioners and is a listed Shamanic Practitioner on Sandra Ingerman's global Shamanic Teachers website.

Pam has been practicing Reiki since 1994. She received her Reiki mastership from Madeline Aron in 1998. As a Reiki Master, she both practices and teaches Reiki.

Pam is also a Certified Piano Teacher and maintains a piano teaching studio.
